We set up Ethical Pets Online because we recognised that today people understand a great deal more of how our actions - the choices we make - can affect our planet. This applies with regard to animal welfare too, from how we treat our companion animals to how animals that are used for food supplies and other purposes are treated in their lifetime. Not only are we concerned about the quality of life of animals but we also are about the types and quality of food we feed them, whether insecticides are used in crop control or in animal treatment products, what goes into processed pet foods and whether we are choosing pet toys and accessories that are made by workers who are treated fairly.
